A Letter To Our Mud Community

To our Mud community:

2020 has been a tough start.

There is no denying we’re in a very strange, difficult and unprecedented place.

Thank you everyone who has bought some Mud over the last few weeks.

Right now, like everyone else, we’re doing what we can to keep our team and business safe. With no clear end in sight, we’ve devastatingly had to stand down, not retrench, many of our fantastic team until the situation improves and we can all be together again.

For now we have closed the doors of our Australian, LA, NYC and London stores as a temporary measure to keep our teams and communities safe.

In the meantime our online store is the best way to order any Mud. We’re also available via our website to answer any questions. We are launching virtual consultations, installing live chat on our website, and working hard to make our blog a hub of uplifting and useful information. We’ll be sharing recipes from our chef and cook friends, stories to read, podcasts to fill the hours at home and films to escape in.  We’re here to inform, soothe and entertain you during these trying times.

We also want to give back to our communities where we can and help those in need.

This week for every purchase made in a Australian Mud stores and our online store, we’re shouting a coffee to a healthcare worker through the ‘Buy Them a Coffee’ initiative. These may be small gestures but this is what helps to keep a community strong.

We’re also a two-way operation, and we’d love to hear from you! If you have any ideas, recipes to share or you know of any great initiatives we’d love to hear about them. Please email us at [email protected]. Also remember to keep in touch via Instagram using the tag #mudaustralia. So please share your recipes, activities and what you’re doing to stay sane, healthy and happy.

My sincere hope from here on in is that you’re all safe and we catch up soonest in person.

Thanks again,

Shelley Simpson
